Scripture Words Of Encouragement
The Lord uses many things to encourage His people, scripture is what He uses most with me and could others. He can also use an individual to say something to you. For myself I hear a word and go look it up in scripture or He will give me a verse I know and can go find. When I got up first thing I do while making coffee is talk to the Lord and told Him this morning I felt I didn’t sleep with working on these sites being constant on my mind. I did write about the work this morning after this happened. I also jotted down notes about it and while doing that the Lord spoke to me. I looked up the verse to put it here well actually it is 2 verses from proverbs I know it quite well and He has used it several times over the years with me.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Then He gave me a word “continue” I wrote about it on blogspot. Now this word He had given me back in March so I was familiar but again went and looked it up. The verse that jumped out to me was this one:
Multi-tasking with the Lord
At my age I am not used to it as I used to be, but I feel comfortable with the fact that you get into routines and things become much more simple so I won’t think about it as much. We all need to multi-task anyway, think about it, work, family, housework, laundry just to name a few so that is necessary. Our first stop needs to be to talk to the Lord mentally first thing in the mornings. And with that the Lord just gave me a song that my son had sent me, but because we tend to not talk to the Lord first thing this song says it all. Have a blessed day.
The Lord just said and you can go to the link there is just 3 scriptures “wait on the Lord” waiting on the Lord can mean several things including spending time with Him. I immediately then heard thinking it all went together “again I say” again 3 scriptures another scripture I had heard before. I pray the Lord blesses you with a word or 2 a day, I think most people have a word or 2 pop into their minds and wonder what it even happened as you were thinking about something else.
