I started texting scriptures about three months ago. Do any of you Christians do that? Do you even talk to a person and once off the phone with them a scripture comes to your mind? Do you ever send them the link to that scripture? Interesting thing for me is it started with just one and I just decided to include the rest of my close family without telling them. Same scripture to them words in red. The Lord basically said if they don’t want it they will block you or ask you to stop sending them. So one by one I would send the same scripture as I don’t know how to use the cellphone. Even the bible link I send I can’t go do it again… but I can edit what I did using 2 books only. The chapter and verse was all that needed edited in the link.
Simple or Led?
Simple would have been to enter verse alone and nothing else, was led to ask using the top verse if they just read 1 verse or read more, the answer was read more. Then to top it off, hear ones were not getting their texted scriptures. So battle with the phone I finally have groups I send to didn’t know how to do that, had others do it for me.. I am a one finger typer on a cellphone. My grandchildren use 2 thumbs and fly typing. I don’t know if they have typing tests for cellphones to see that speed. Heard from others that they read them each day. Finally I have a routine and only have to send that text 3 times as I have three groups.. no one could add people to group was the problem. Plus 4 more grandchildren got added, my 3rd group. Everything is cellphone for them, me I use computer and even with this new bible software had to use it then go get it on cell.
How many people do you know not really in the word any longer each day. How many get their scripture from other places instead of the word of God? Well of course you see how it grew with writing a program for a Scripture A Day without needing to read a blog. For a lot of the middle aged this is being in the word for them first thing in the morning to start their day. I encourage you to start texting see what happens for you if you just start it.
